THE STORY
Saeid Rafieian
Growing up in Iran, Saeid witnessed firsthand the consequences of a legal system in which the rule of law is weakened and access to justice is uncertain. Those early experiences shaped a lasting commitment to fairness, accountability, and principled advocacy.
Saeid began his academic career in electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, the nation's leading institution in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. He later transitioned to law, drawn by the analytical rigor and human impact of legal practice.
At the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, Saeid developed a strong foundation in Canadian litigation. He was the recipient of the Faculty of Law International Tuition Award in two consecutive academic years.
He subsequently practiced at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, a national law firm in Canada, where he worked on complex commercial disputes and appeared in contested litigation matters.
Saeid founded RAF Law Corporation to provide focused and efficient legal representation, grounded in clear communication, transparent billing practices, and a careful understanding of each client’s objectives.
Professional Activities
Saeid is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association, and the Advocates' Society.
